Which journey needs the arrival declaration?
Indonesia’s immigration ministry says All Indonesia became the nationwide declaration for passengers arriving from overseas on 1 October 2025. It brings immigration, customs, health and quarantine declarations together. Access is available through allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id and the mobile application.
A domestic Jakarta–Bali journey therefore differs from Singapore–Jakarta–Bali. For the second example, prepare the details of the sector entering Indonesia. Match the international arrival airport to the ticket rather than automatically entering the final domestic destination. The foreign ministry’s official instructions show the WNI/WNA nationality selection, personal details, journey information, address and declarations before submission. Use each traveller’s passport details, rather than the nationality of whoever holds the family phone.
Keep passenger information separate from luggage arrangements. Sharing a suitcase does not make relatives’ names, passports or health answers interchangeable. Ask an adult you are helping to review their own answers. For a child, prepare the child’s documents and follow the portal’s passenger workflow; do not assume a parent’s QR automatically covers everyone.
A practical submission sequence
- Open the official address with a stable connection. Avoid advertisements requesting payment to “speed up” the form.
- Put the passport beside the latest itinerary. Check the local arrival date carefully, particularly after an overnight flight.
- Enter identity and journey details from those documents. Read the nationality and arrival-mode selections again before continuing.
- Answer declaration questions truthfully. Keep purchase receipts or goods documentation that may need explanation, without treating a QR as clearance from inspection.
- Review everything, submit and download the QR. Give the saved file a recognisable name without putting a full passport number in its filename.
- Test that the download opens without an internet connection. Keep a private backup or print a copy if that is easier for the traveller.
Batam Immigration also confirms that submission is free. Check any visa, ticket or unrelated service charge separately. A national emblem on a payment page does not establish that the page operates the official declaration service.
If the flight changes or the QR disappears
After a schedule change, compare the new arrival date, airport and flight number with what you submitted. Return to the official service to inspect the available options. The guidance reviewed here does not establish that every field can always be edited. If correction is unavailable, ask the official service or an officer for the appropriate procedure. Avoid submitting random duplicates and then presenting a QR for the wrong journey.
If the QR is missing, check downloads, saved photographs and any confirmation available through your account or device. If you still cannot find proof, reopen the official portal on a working connection. A screenshot of an unfinished draft does not demonstrate submission. Keep sensitive documents private and do not send passport images to an unverified support account.
Connect the form with your airport plan
For an onward domestic flight, use the CGK transfer guide or DPS airport guide to plan baggage and the next departure. Finishing the declaration does not predict immigration queues, baggage delivery or the time needed to reach another terminal.
