Fare data
Fare brackets shown on route pages come from the Travelpayouts Data API. Every Sunday at 03:00 UTC, an automated job refreshes the per-route minimum-price cache. Each entry is a point-in-time minimum — the lowest one-way fare available for the cheapest cabin on the most recently sold inventory, expressed in IDR and USD-converted from the original offer when applicable.
We present brackets, not exact prices, because (a) inventory rolls over hourly, (b) different distribution channels see different prices, and (c) IDR/USD conversion depends on the rate at fetch time. The brackets shown ("from Rp X.X jt" / "typical Rp X.X–Y.Y jt") reflect the trailing four-week minimum on each route. Routes with fewer than three observations in that period are marked "limited data".
Schedule and route data
Three sources, priority order:
- Official airline route maps and IR filings — Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, Lion Air, Batik Air, Saudia, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, KLM, and other carriers serving Indonesia.
- National regulators — Kemenhub Dirjen Hubud (DGCA Indonesia), AirNav Indonesia for airport slot allocation.
- Industry trade press — IATA, INACA (Indonesia National Air Carriers Association), ch-aviation, route-launch announcements.
When sources disagree, regulator leads; airline claim noted as "announced, pending regulatory approval".
Hajj and Umrah data
Pilgrimage information is primarily sourced from Kementerian Agama (Bimas Islam, PHU Directorate), with cross-check against SISKOHAT for quota queue status, and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Nusuk platform, package categories, MOFA e-visa procedure) for destination-side rules. Pilgrim charter routes are verified against GMF AeroAsia filings and SAGIA-licensed Saudi ground-handler announcements. We do not interpret religious doctrine — we cite Kemenag PHU or MUI and link out.
Visa and consular data
Visa requirements and fees come from destination embassy or consulate websites (primary), IATA Timatic (cross-check via airline check-in interfaces), and recent (under 12 months) authoritative reporting. Quarterly re-verification on high-volume routes; bi-annually on long tail. Every visa claim carries a "verified on" date.
Currency conventions
IDR as base currency with USD shown in parentheses where useful. Format: "Rp X.X jt" for millions, "Rp X.X rb" for thousands. Conversions use the Bank Indonesia JISDOR mid-rate at the fare-fetch timestamp. We do not embed live currency widgets — the rate shown is the rate at fetch time.
Update cadence
- Weekly — Travelpayouts fare refresh (Sundays 03:00 UTC).
- Monthly — Editorial freshness sweep on pillars. Price deltas >15% trigger re-verification.
- Quarterly — Visa data re-verification on high-volume routes.
- Bi-annually — Long-tail visa data and minor-airline schedules.
"Last verified" stamp — what it means
The "Last verified" date reflects when the data sources behind a specific page were last cross-checked. We do not bump the date for cosmetic edits, internal-link additions, or unrelated changes — only when an editor has re-confirmed at least the fare bracket and one external policy claim.
Corrections policy
Material errors get a public, dated correction note at the top of the affected article. Email [email protected]; corrections within 48 hours. Minor typos are silent; substantive corrections (wrong visa fee, wrong baggage rule, wrong fare range by >20%) keep a dated note indefinitely.
